2 great shoe brands as owned and run by Prada

An array of colourful, quirky, as well as elegant, and classy high quality pairs of shoes.
Keeping up with the times as presented by 2 very reputable brands Church’s of England and Car Shoe of Italy.
Both these companies are now owned and managed by another great brand Prada
which is very much attuned with the current demands and flow of the market at large globally.

Originally founded in 1873 by Thomas Church and his three sons, Church’s has always been a high end brand. It grew into a corporation with main installations located in the St James area of Northampton, with an estimated production capacity of 5000 pairs per week, 70% of which are exported all over the world.
The company also has several of its own retail stores, including one in Jermyn Street, London, George Street, Edinburgh, and Pacific Place, Hong Kong.
Church’s of England was acquired by the international fashion group Prada in 1999.
More recently Prada sold a 45% stake to Equinox, a private investment fund.
It now also does clothing and accessory lines.

On the other hand Car Shoe was founded in 1963 by Gianni Mostile.
The brand soon became best known for its signature moccasin which feature tiny rubber nubs.
It earned a patent from the Italian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Much growth and development has been made dramatically since Prada took over it’s helm in 2001…
Its 2005 turnover of 17 million euros ($21 million) represented a remarkable 180% surge in sales from 6 million euros ($7.5 million) in 2004, and its sales increased by 33% in 2008 compared to the previous year.
Car Shoe is one of six most copied labels in the Chinese capital.
